Sending Telegram Messages with FairBot

Introduction

FairBot is a professional trading application for Betfair that enables users to automate strategies and respond to market events in real time. To help users stay instantly informed, FairBot now supports integration with Telegram, a free messaging platform that is considered relatively secure and allows automated bots to send messages.

What's new in FairBot 4.9 vs 4.83?

  • The new Autopilot Manager. This feature allows you to automatically identify markets suitable for your strategy, add them to the Market Watch List, and assign the strategy to the added markets. It can even automatically start the process once you log in to FairBot.
  • Improved bet placing below the minimum bet size. It now places such bets in one transaction.
  • Added an ability to choose the default mode (Simulation or Real) to the login window.
  • Optimised performance for strategies that refer to multiple market types of the same event. It now adds the other market types to the Market Watch List only when needed by action or conditions, leaving more refresh slots for other background markets.

  • Added preset support to the Market Selector. It now allows you to save your favourite parameters to a preset and load them when needed.
  • Added an ability to select competitions in the Market Selector.
  • Added the "Betfair.com.au" domain support. It now allows New Zealand users to log in to FairBot.
  • Fixed the problem with the 2nd player's name in the Tennis scoreboard.
  • Other minor bug fixes and improvements.

  • Improved logic with the sound alerts. Now FairBot generates fewer duplicates.
  • Changed the base URL for Jockey Silk Colours to avoid interruption in the service after the 4th of December, 2023.
